RUMRUNNER RECIPE

Rum-run-er
n.

1. One who illegally transports liquor across a border and/or
a boat used to transport liquor across a border.

2. A frozen concoction made from rum and liqueurs that originated
at the Holiday Isle in Islamorada, FL in the late 1950's.

3. A must run, kick-ass, 5K road race on December 8th that
showcases what rumrunning and running is all about.
Hosted at the Postcard Inn at Holiday Isle!

Are you a Runner or a Rumrunner? Both are invited to join in this fantastic 5K in the beautiful Florida Keys hosted at the spectacular Postcard Inn at Holiday Isle. As a Runner you will enjoy a fast, flat and certified course that will have you focused on reaching a new personal record. As a Rumrunner, you can enjoy a leisurely jog all while stopping at a few rumrunner stations along the course to sample some of the local bars most popular Keys beverage. Or, you can join both sides by running to get in your serious workout for the day as well as stopping for a frozen sample of goodness. It is totally up to you. And at the end of the race, you will be given a full rumrunner (virgins if you do not drink or are underage) as well as entrance to an awesome Florida Keys shindig on the beach of Holiday Isle with great food and live music. Whether you are here to compete or to party, this is a destination race that will have you coming back year after year.
